As we age, the cheeks lose volume and the jawline can soften. Filler in the cheeks can restore lift and shape to the midface, and filler along the jawline and chin can add definition and balance to your profile.
These treatments use firmer hyaluronic acid fillers designed to support the face.
Your provider looks at your face as a whole and talks with you about the balance you want. Treating the cheeks can also soften lines lower on the face.
The area is numbed and filler is injected in small amounts. Treatment usually takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Some swelling, tenderness and bruising are common for a few days. Filler can rarely block a blood vessel, causing tissue injury, blindness or stroke. Seek immediate medical attention for vision changes, unusual severe pain or skin turning white or dusky after treatment.
Results are visible right away and often last about 12 to 18 months or longer, depending on the filler and the area.
Offered at all of our offices.
Our providers aim for a natural look that fits your face. We can start with a smaller amount and add more later.
Yes. Filler and Botox are often used together. For selected patients, masseter Botox may reduce jaw width caused by enlarged chewing muscles; this is an off-label use.
