Cherry angiomas are small, bright red bumps made of blood vessels. They are very common after age 30 and often appear on the trunk, arms and legs. They are harmless.
Removal is usually cosmetic. Healing time varies, and scarring or pigment changes are possible.
Offered at all of our offices.
They become more common with age and often run in families. New ones appearing over time is normal.
Cosmetic removal is usually not covered. Coverage for symptomatic lesions depends on your plan and medical-necessity criteria.
