Do I need a referral?
Please reach out to your primary care physicians office and insurance provider for information regarding your need for a referral. Unfortunately, we are unable to check referral requirements for your insurance plan.
Why do I have to sign up for the patient portal?
While we highly recommend all patients to use our portal, it is not explicitly required. Being an active user on our portal will allow you to schedule appointments, review lab results, update your information, and request prescription refills.
Why don't all doctors have the same patient portal?
We get this question a lot, and we understand your frustration. Unfortunately, there are thousands of electronic medical records platforms, and medical offices all use different ones. Due to the variety, not all portals can be the same. If you have feedback on how we can improve ours, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Why can't I reply "YES" or "NO" to my appointment confirmation?
If you book online with us, your appointment is automatically confirmed! No need to do anything else except show up for your visit. When you book over the phone, email reminders are automatically sent 1-6 days before your visit. Calling to confirm is not required, but we do appreciate a heads up if you are not going to make you appointment, so that we can make the time slot available to others.
Can I have a tracking number for my online or phone order?
Sure can! If you placed your order online, you should receive an email confirmation with a tracking number once your item ships. If you do not receive one, or if you placed your order over the phone or in office, just let us know by emailing email@example.com.
How much does a consultation cost without insurance?
The cost varies based on the needs of a patient, but in general new patients pay $250 and follow-up patients pay $150. If any procedures are needed, this may affect the price, so always get in touch with us first to confirm – we are happy to help.
How long is the wait?
Not too long, we hope. We strive to minimize wait times as much as possible by tracking our reception area and patient flow with a custom built web application. There are time, however, where unexpected circumstances cause longer than normal wait times. In these situations, we do our best to keep patients updated, and are always available if there is anything we can do to make your wait more comfortable or enjoyable.
Why did I hear someone check in with the same appointment time as me?
Our appointment blocks vary, but patients may have the same appointment times if they are seeing different providers Sometimes, patients who express their flexibility in accommodating a longer wait time will be double booked on our schedule.

How long does it take for my lab results or other test results to come in?
Typically for biopsies, we receive results 7-10 days after a visit. For cultures, these can take up to 14 days since they need time to grow. Our PAs call each and every patient with their results, regardless of the outcome.
